'Vita Bel' is a classic, eye-catchingly elegant 16m Van Dam yacht equipped for private crewed yacht charters, sailing ship cruises and corporate charters around Mallorca and the Balearic Islands. This luxury yacht has solid teak decks, new white sails, hydraulic swimming platform, deck shower, sun canopies and two dining areas with tables and seats. On board WC and shower, barbecue, deck cushions and dinghy complete the equipment list for exploring the Majorca coast.

Located in the beautiful Marina of Cala D'or, she featured on BBC 's 'Passport to the Sun' for 5 years besides other UK and international TV channels, advertisements and countless home videos. A Majorca Yacht Charter boat trip will be the highlight of your holiday!

In 2006, we sailed with over 1,000 guests, most of them said it was the best trip of their holiday in Mallorca!

Besides holiday visitors and tourists  to the island, villa rental companies and owners, company incentive and team-building events,  we have hosted birthday parties, romantic sunset evenings for anniversaries, engagements and wedding parties.

Pre-wedding nerves have been banished with a stag party or hen party - not at the same time. Last year 3 marriage proposals were accepted on the boat.  Special nights, never to be forgotten on board a classic sailing boat with skipper!

Last year large companies and small businesses from England, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark and the United States used our tailored hospitality packages to entertain their clients and staff on corporate events, incentive days and team-building events.

Disabled and elderly people can come aboard easily with wheelchair access direct to the boat from our mooring  berth. A wonderful boat trip with swimming off the boat,  is possible for disabled children and adults due  to the hydraulic platform that will raise and lower 200 kg  from deck level to 0.5 metres below the sea.

We offer a range of Majorca sailing days on the following pages. The prices given are for a Private Charter for up to 10 guests, if your group is larger or smaller, call us for a quotation. We do not offer bareboat yacht charter.

Couples, families and smaller groups may prefer to share the charter with other guests. This may be possible on the Luxury Mallorca Day Yacht Charter, Sunset Barbecue Majorca Yacht Charter. Choose the charter that suits you and we can  introduce other guests who would like  to share the boat hire/charter with you.  Lunch, dinner and drinks are included in the above charters, call us to discuss vegetarian options and other dietary preferences.

Barbecues are available as an additional option on a private day charter..

Every charter is conducted by an RYA Yacht Master qualified skipper and bi-lingual hostess/crew. We are licensed for charter by the UK Maritime Coastguard Agency and the Government of the Balearic Islands. Vita Bel has been established and licensed for charter for 12 years, since 1995.

Example Day Charter - Cala D'or to Porto Colom 

Sailing out of the Marina Cala Dor known as Cala Llonga, we get our first view of the sea sparkling in the sun light as we pass the sandy beach of Calador on the left and many millionaires villas on the right.  We hoist the sails and have our first view of Cala Gran where, this year the sea-bed has been declared a protected site.

Out to sea, we set the sails for the wind and head for Cala Ferrera and Cala Esmeralda.  After a short stop for swimming we sail to Porto Colom for lunch with views of the many boats on moorings and the marina.  Returning to Cala Dor we stop at Cala Sa Nau  to admire the Bronze age buildings dating from 3000 BC that surround this scenic bay.  500 meters along the coast is the secluded bay of Cala Mitjana, famous locally for the imposing mansion overlooking the sea, reputedly built by the founder of Repsol Oil Company.

Example Day Charter - Cala Dor to Cala Llombards

Leaving Cala Llonga with a favourable wind we pass Es Forti, a 500 year old fort built to protect the Cala from Pirates.  The first bay we pass is Cala Egos, with its sheer 20m cliffs, its a favourite stopping point for people to experience cliff-diving and coasteering.

Approximately 10km south is Cala Figuera, the beautiful antiquated fishing port, where the locals unload their fishing catch every afternoon.  After a short break we sail on to the bay of Cala Santanyi and see the unusual rock formations caused by millions of years of erosion.

Anchoring in Cala Llombards for lunch, you can swim in the crystal blue waters before we sail back on the way stopping at the bay of Cala Mondrago, Cala S'Amarrador, Cala Barca and Cala des Borgit.  Mondrago park and the beaches are listed as an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty'.

Porto Petro is a stunning natural port with 20m depth making it a popular mooring for large sailing ships and racing yachts to berth for a night whilst cruising the Balearic Islands.   We stop here for a final swim and occasionally some fishing.
